~ For an enduring, peaceful support ~

“I greatly appreciate the Japanese who expressed deep concern and worry due to the oppression in Tibet and through the increase of people cooperating were able to form the Save Tibet Network. Likewise, I would like to express my thanks that this issue is being discussed in congress. ”

“I would like to extend my thanks to each and every person who is a participant in the Save Tibet Network while at the same time making a request of them. Please conduct yourselves in a spirit of non-violence in all support activities.”

“Also, in the time leading up to the opening of the Olympics people’s concern is at a peak, I dearly wish that you do not forget Tibet when the Olympics have passed and can be counted as life-long supporters.”

The Save Tibet Network’s Declaration of Peace

The Save Tibet Network, at it’s core the ideals and methodologies of Dalai Lama, states that all protests and related action will be carried out peacefully.
Without hindrance of the Olympic torch, nor a boycott of the Olympics themselves, we vow to peacefully protest the repression of human rights and the use of armed force against Tibetans by the Chinese government.
